A major step forward in digital connectivity has been achieved in Solomon Islands, as the Ministry of Communication and Aviation of Solomon Islands (MCA), China Harbor Engineering Company Ltd.(CHEC), and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.(Huawei) announce the successful commissioning of three key telecommunication towers.
These three towers belong to the Solomon Islands National Broadband Infrastructure Project (SINBIP), which is supported by China.
With these 3 new sites operational—Susuka (M10), TuTu (M9) in Choiseul Province, and Tonisafu (B133) in Malaita Province, SINBIP has commissioned 79 towers in total.
