“Industry observers project that not only Apple but also Samsung could be subject to priority consideration. Companies wishing to participate must submit proposals within 90 days detailing how much they can enhance the price competitiveness of smartphones using U.S. funding. Samsung has not yet disclosed any specifics regarding its participation in this initiative.”
