Deputy PM urges completion of site clearance for Ninh Thuan nuclear power project in 2025
“The project covers the construction of two nuclear power plants, namely Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2.”
“Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance will work with the provincial People’s Committee to review the total funding required for resettlement and site clearance, propose central budget support, and report to the PM before August 10, 2025.”
“EVN and Petrovietnam have been instructed to urgently complete the pre-feasibility studies for the plants, to submit to the competent authorities for adjustments to the investment policy. The study for Ninh Thuan 1 must be completed in September 2025, and for Ninh Thuan 2 no later than June 2026.”
