“Before visiting Hong Kong, the top diplomat was spending Wednesday and Thursday in Xiamen to chair a high-level meeting with 11 Pacific Island nations – Kiribati, Niue, Tonga, Nauru, Micronesia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands, Fiji and Samoa.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing announced Wang’s visit to Hong Kong last week. Representatives from nearly 60 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America, as well as around 20 global bodies, are also expected to attend the ceremony.”
