Marcos orders courtesy resignations of all GOCC chairs, CEOs, boards
“Just days after asking all government heads of agencies and secretary-ranked officials to hand in their courtesy resignations, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also ordered all ranking executives of Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) — chairpersons, chief executive officers, directors, trustees, and boards — to do the same.”
“The new order comes as Marcos promised to revamp his administration, supposedly to make sure it is “aligned” with what the public wants. This comes at the heels of a devastating loss for the administration and its ruling coalition in the May 2025 elections.”
